Terms & Conditions
Effective June 16, 2026
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of LostToAI.com and related pages, feeds, and services (the “Site”), operated by PGBDIC LLC (“Operator,” “we,” “us”). By accessing or using the Site you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
1. Informational service only
The Site is an informational and educational resource that aggregates and organizes workforce-reduction notices and labor-market signals from free, public sources. It is provided for general information only.
The Site does not provide legal, financial, investment, tax, accounting, employment, career, human-resources, compliance, or professional advice of any kind, and nothing on the Site is a substitute for advice from a qualified professional.
2. No warranty; accuracy and completeness
The Site and all content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the content is accurate, complete, current, or error-free. Data is drawn from third-party public sources and may be incomplete, delayed, duplicated, misstated, revised, withdrawn, or removed by the originating agency or source at any time. Numbers may change as public records are updated or corrected.
3. Public-source and interpretation limitations
Source records (such as state WARN notices, regulatory filings, and official company announcements) are created and maintained by third parties, not by us. We do not control their availability, format, timing, or accuracy. Classifications, categories, locations, dates, and counts shown on the Site reflect our good-faith interpretation of public records and may differ from the underlying source or from other interpretations.
A WARN notice or similar record indicates a reported or planned workforce reduction; it does not, by itself, establish the cause of any reduction.
4. No claim of AI causation; no defamation intent
We describe a reduction as related to AI or automation only where the underlying public record uses that language. We do not assert that artificial intelligence or automation caused any particular layoff, closure, or reduction. References to specific employers reflect public records and are presented without intent to disparage, and without any implication of wrongdoing.
5. No reliance; assumption of risk
You should independently verify any information before relying on it. You agree that you use the Site and its content at your own risk and that you will not make employment, hiring, firing, investment, financial, or other consequential decisions based solely on the Site.
6. No endorsement
The Site is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any government agency, company, or third party referenced on it. Source names are used for identification only.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event will PGBDIC LLC, or its owners, members, managers, officers, directors, employees, agents, contractors, licensors, or affiliates (the “Protected Parties”) be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Site or its content, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Protected Parties’ total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Site will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars (US$100). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some may not apply to you.
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Protected Parties from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
9. Acceptable use; prohibited conduct
You agree not to:
- use the Site for unlawful purposes or to harass, defame, or harm any person or entity;
- scrape, harvest, or bulk-extract content except as expressly permitted;
- circumvent access controls, rate limits, or security; or impose unreasonable load;
- misrepresent the data, or present it as legal, financial, or employment advice;
- use automated systems to abuse the Site or its feeds.
10. Intellectual property
The Site’s original text, design, organization, and compilation are owned by PGBDIC LLC and protected by applicable law. Underlying public records remain the property of their respective sources. You may view and share links to the Site for personal, non-commercial use.
11. Third-party sources and links
The Site references third-party public sources. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of any third party. References are provided for identification and context only.
12. Corrections and removal requests
If you believe a record is inaccurate or should be reviewed, contact legal@losttoai.com with the employer, location, and date. We review correction and removal requests in good faith against the underlying public record; we cannot change the official source itself.
13. Newsletter and communications
If you subscribe to updates, you consent to receive related emails and may unsubscribe at any time. See our Privacy Policy.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
15. Governing law; venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Subject to Section 16, you agree to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the state and federal courts located in Illinois.
16. Dispute resolution; arbitration and class-action waiver
[For attorney review before reliance.] To the extent permitted by law, any dispute arising out of or relating to the Site or these Terms shall be resolved by binding individual arbitration rather than in court, and you and PGBDIC LLC waive any right to a jury trial and to participate in a class or representative action. This section is intended to be enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
17. Severability; entire agreement
If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. These Terms, with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and PGBDIC LLC regarding the Site.
